IHS Research Grants

Applications are now open for Research Grants for any accredited academic Headache Master programme. Applications are welcomed from physicians, psychologists, scientists and nurses with a special interest in headache/pain.

The value of the grants is US$ 5,000 per year. Applications will be accepted for a 2-year course, offering a total of US$ 10,000 over 2 years.

Deadline for applications: 1 May 2018

 

IHS/ABF Clinical Research Training Scholarship in Headache 2019

Application for the IHS Clinical Research Scholarship in Headache 2019 will open in spring 2018

IHS Short-stay Scholarships 2018

IHS is offering Short-stay Scholarships to young researchers from developing countries to fund visits to a major headache congress and a research centre or clinic in the same country as the congress.

The duration of such visits should be a maximum of 6 weeks, immediately before, during and/or after the congress. 

Funding is available for three scholarships.

Eligibility: Within 7 years from completion of their neurology training, who are resident in any of the Hinari countries.

Award value: Eur 6,000

2018 Association of Migraine Disorders and Migraine Research Foundation Impact Award

MRF and AMD have opened the Request for Proposals for migraine research grants.

They are looking for projects that will help sufferers by advancing our ability to understand and treat migraine. As a result, seed money grants are available for transformational projects that will ultimately lead to better treatment and quality of life for sufferers of migraine and migraine disorders

While all proposals relevant to basic or clinical migraine research are welcome, they are particularly interested in translational projects and those related to migraine variants, childhood migraine, and chronic migraine.

Award value: A maximum of $50,000 will be awarded for each grant.

Duration: The expected project duration is one year.

Application deadline: 3 August 2108
